Assistant

Kitchen/Chef


We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Kitchen Assistant/Chef, with 1 to 2 years of professional experience, familiar with Portuguese culinary standards and competent in HACCP standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

    Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of a variety of Portuguese dishes with attention to detail and following established recipes.


    Cooking Help: Support the Chef in carrying out culinary tasks, ensuring the quality and consistency of the dishes.


    Compliance with HACCP Standards: Demonstrate a solid knowledge of HACCP standards and procedures to maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen environment.


    Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.


    Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and an efficient workflow.


    Adaptability: Adapt to kitchen demands and help deal with unexpected situations with a proactive approach.


    Quality Control: Assist in monitoring and maintaining food quality standards during all stages of preparation.



Requirements

    1 to 2 years of professional experience in a kitchen environment.Solid understanding of Portuguese culinary standards and traditional cooking methods.Knowledge of HACCP standards and commitment to maintaining food safety protocols.Proactive and dynamic approach to work, with the ability to take initiative. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn and grow in the role. Flexibility to work different hours, including nights and weekends.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chef with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional culinary experience. The ideal candidate must be versatile, able to handle multiple tasks with skill and precision, and have a solid foundation in Portuguese culinary standards.

    Quality Control: Implement strict quality control measures to ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion size.


    Collaboration: Work together with the kitchen team to promote a collaborative and positive environment.

Requirements
